The Beginning

Hi there, Ana here. I decided to join the masses of young women who have a blog, even though I have little idea of what I’m actually doing (although I did have a blog during my college years, I think i totaled 50 views, impressive!). I thought I’d be upfront and frank with you.. please don’t have high expectations. I googled how to start a blog a couple of months ago, and then I put it off for a while, but I finally thought it was time to actually begin this journey.

The reason behind starting this blog is that Nathan and I are moving overseas in six (woah) months. We are also bringing along our new, fresh baby (due January 3). Most people think we are crazy, but we are pretty confident that this is what God has planned for our life.

With all of these changes, I want to be diligent about keeping friends and family back home updated on what life in SE Asia is like. Especially my mother because I’m sure you can imagine how she feels about me bringing a six week old on an airplane halfway across the world. I am completely aware that not everyone on the internet world needs to be updated on how we manage to not get hit by motorbikes when we cross the street, or the millions of pictures of our baby that I will most likely post, so I started a blog. You can follow it if you want, and if you don’t want, all you have to do is scroll past a little link in your newsfeed, how convenient!

Anyways, please have grace with my many typos, lack of organization and our poor, pathetic blog title. I really tried to create something a little more ‘exciting’, I’ve asked friends, I’ve googled things and still… nothing. So maybe if you have a better idea, you can comment it, and make our family blog a little bit better 😉
