Our sweet Naomi girl is three years old! How does that happen? She just keeps getting older. I was reading through her old birthday blogs and she is the same wild Naomi, but has also grown so much.

She has the sweetest blonde curls, and the most round, blue eyes. She is still her wild self, but also can be shy and timid around new people. Her pink elephant “Ellie” is her favorite stuffed animal (I think this is #3 or #4—next time we will get a stuffed animal that is easier to clean).

She loves to dance and mover her body. She takes dance class seriously, and also enjoys doing her own renditions at home. She is stubborn when it comes to bed time, but I love listening to her play with her stuffed animals in her bed. She could play for hours, just singing songs and talking to them (and thankfully, Reya doesn’t seem to mind).

Throughout the past three years she has shown us just how resilient she is. She isn’t fazed by the craziness that goes on around her, and she is okay with just about anything. There have been so many instances where Nathan and I are stressed and Naomi says something or does something that just makes us laugh. She is sunshine and she is joy—and we are so grateful for her comedic relief.
Sweet Naomi McLean, we pray you would grow up knowing how loved you are, not only by us, but by the God who created you and knows you better than anyone else. He created you with a purpose and we can’t wait to watch it unfold. You are silly, you are brave and you carry with you a braveness that I pray that spirit will never be quenched. You are a gift, and we will continually praise God for you! We love you so much Naomi.
