Since I didn’t include one single picture in my last post, I’ll make up for it with this one. Here we go!
We moved into a new house, and finally got a kitchen table! Hez is pretty happy that he no longer sits on the floor at mealtime (his highchair attaches to the chair). Plus, look at this cute hat, it makes him look like a little dumpling. Here’s the view of the sunrise from our front porch. If mother nature decides to behave and stop raining everyday, maybe I’ll get to see some more sunrises. Hez’s new favorite chair. He looks like he feels so accomplished whenever we sit him in it!Hez also discovered his new favorite toys—Nathan’s boots. I think this picture is so funny. It’s like an optical illusion—big baby w/ little legs. Hez also loves taking rides on the four wheeler! We are thankful for friends who let us borrow theirs for some social distancing entertainment.Whenever we walk by it, he will pat it until we sit him on there. We (used to) spend a lot of time at Lend & Learn (a free play center for kids). Hez loves spending time with his two little buddies and also loves destroying anything and everything that is there. On Saturday we went to a creative arts night put on by our church! It was incredible. I’m so thankful for a church that honors the arts.
Hez also got to spend some time with his future GF Evie. Their couple name will be Hevie (pronounced heavy). How great! Another picture of Hez just hanging out at church. Snack cup in hand, and finger ready to make sure no puffs slip out of his mouth.Just posting this for the cuteness. We did bible studies on Zoom before it was cool (and recommended for social distancing). But on a real note, this was definitely a highlight of my last eight weeks. Super thankful for these ladies. Celebrated a friend’s birthday and legitimately ordered one of everything from the menu. This is maybe 1/3 of all of the food that came. Needless to say, we had a good amount of leftovers. Hez just living the country life—rain boots & all. Hez also discovered how to pat his belly. If I was more technologically advanced I would figure out how to put the video on here, but until then you will have to deal with this screen shot.
And last but not least, Hez’s first bike ride! His legs may be too short to reach the ground, but that’s where dad comes in and helps!
Well, there you have it—some pictures of the last couple of weeks of our life. I’m going to attempt to makes some blueberry-lemon scones on this gloomy, gloomy day, I’ll let you all know how they turn out!
Thanks. Always like to hear how you are doing and of course see the latest pictures! ❤️
